About the Statewide Energy Efficiency Forum

Introducing the California Climate and Energy Collaborative

We are excited to announce the launch of the California Climate and Energy Collaborative (CCEC), a new initiative implemented by the Local Government Commission and sponsored by the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN), the Tri-County Regional Energy Network (3C-REN), and the Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN)!

While we are introducing a new look and name, CCEC will offer many of the same services provided by the Local Government Commission and the Best Practices Coordinator as part of the Statewide Energy Efficiency Collaborative (SEEC), which sunsetted at the end of 2020 after 11 successful years.

The Annual Statewide Energy Efficiency Forum, organized by the Local Government Commission in partnership with SEEC and offered at no-cost to California local government staff and officials, provides valuable opportunities for participants to learn, share, and network with peers from across the state.
